Desktop Application Terms
Use of the Application
PromptX desktop application:
- Requires your own Claude API credentials to function
- Runs locally on your device
- May access local files and system resources as configured by you
You are responsible for:
- Your API usage and associated costs with Anthropic
- Content generated through the application
- Compliance with Anthropic’s terms of service
- Proper handling of any sensitive data you process
Third-Party Services
When using PromptX with third-party services:
- You must comply with their respective terms of service
- Costs and rate limits are determined by those services

- MCP Servers: Refer to individual server terms
Disclaimer of Warranties
PromptX is provided “as is” without any warranties:
- No guarantee of uptime, functionality, or fitness for purpose
- No liability for data loss, damages, or service interruptions

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Deepractice is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages
- Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the software (which is zero for open-source distribution)
User-Generated Content
When using AI features:
- You retain rights to your prompts and generated content
- You are responsible for the legality and appropriateness of your use
- Anthropic’s terms apply to content processed through Claude API
